BIPV Gas station

  • SOLVIS developed a brand new and unconventional approach for finding new methods for solving future challenges and for gaining experience in operating systems that are not current industrial standards thus promoting efficiency improvement of these technologies. Based on our experience, we applied these elements in the first integrated BIPV gas station.
  • Besides its shading effect, a 195 square meters of solar canopy made of polycrystalline glass/glass modules transforms solar energy into electricity. Generated electricity is then used by the gas station. Additional 50 square meters of effective surface consists of 60 rhombus shaped solar leaves which define a unique solar tree.
  • Installed solar system is one of the most cost effective technologies available today. It generates approximately 30,800 kWh annually, significantly decreasing operation costs of the gas station.
